HOW TO ASSEMBLE

The assembly of Kavee C&C cages for guinea pigs is very simple. Just assemble the grids or panels together using connectors and ties. As for the plastic base in coroplast, with its pre-cut locking slots, it can easily be assembled by folding the corners and inserting the hooks in the slots. No tool or tape is required for assembly.

CARING INSTRUCTIONS

Kavee C&C cages can be cleaned simply and quickly with the following steps:

1. Remove your pets from the cage then scoop up any poops with a handy Swept Off Your Paws Dustpan & Brush and remove any other waste.

2. Remove the dirty bedding and clean the coroplast sheet with a damp sponge and piggy-safe cage cleaner.

3. Dry your coroplast with a cloth.

4. Set up your cage again!

WARNINGS

Make sure to remove the protective film from the clear panels before setting up the cage. While this cage is suitable even for baby pigs older than 8 weeks, make sure to test that it’s safe for the size of your pet as every piggy is different.

The powder coating should not wear off with normal use (emptying the cage, changing the liner, your furry friends running into it). If your pet is very determined, they may chew off small parts of the coating, however, this is totally safe as it’s non-toxic.

Most animals will not chew the coroplast sheet. If this happens, you must immediately prevent this behavior by covering the edge of the coroplast sheet, using a cloth, cardboard, or a nibble guard. Some animals sometimes need a little time to adapt to their new habitat and lose this bad habit after a while.

We advise the use of a lid if you have young children, cats, or dogs. However, we do not guarantee the integrity of the lid in case of an attack by another animal. Never leave a dangerous animal unattended near your cage.
